11.00-12.00 Rimage Spotlight
Vernon Pratt, Rimage’s UK & Ireland Regional Sales Manager will discuss how Rimage’s DVD & BD publishing systems fit into many areas of the tapeless workflow. This will include a hands‐on demonstration of the fast and cost effective offload and archive of P2 content to optical disc as an alternative to hard drive and tape; complete with shooters’ metadata and clip thumbnailprinted on the disc surface for professional and easy identification. A second hands‐on demonstration will show the ease with which you can automate the production of copy protected video DVDs & BD discs from Mac based applications such as Adobe Encore using Rimage’s native Mac client DiscFlow™.

Marc Irwin will present an overview of the current IT based acquisition technology with emphasis on DVCPROHD, AVC‐Intra and AVCHD. He will also give an update on some of the exciting productions created on P2HD, currently being broadcast or in production.
14.00-15.00 GridIron Spotlight
Demo artist and Creative Director, Angie Taylor is back on the Adobe Theatre showing GridIron Flow, the groundbreaking visual workflow suite for professional designers. Angie will show how Flow can be used as a central hub for your design projects, allowing you to share a visual map of your workflow with colleagues across networks. In this session you’ll see how Flow can help you manage your assets, track the time you spend working on projects and create automatic versioning, packaging and backup of essential files. Particular attention will be paid to the tight integration between Flow and CS4 with Flow’s Flash panels inside Adobe applications.
